Opening Day at Fenway Park will always and forever be my favorite thing. What could be better than the hope of a new season? Fresh grass, warm weather, the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd. Just like Billy Beane said in the movie Moneyball, 'How could you not be romantic about baseball?' Although the Sox weren't receiving any championship rings this year, this is New England, so obviously we still had some sort of trophy. The Patriots brought the bling and the lols with Brady unveiling his newly re-acquired Super Bowl jersey -- only for Gronk to promptly steal it. While the Pats brought the gear, the Sox brought the cheers with rookie Andrew Benintendi smacking a three-run homerun to kick off the season in style. The first Boston Red Sox Opening Day 2017 without Big Papi was rough, but overall it was another one for the books!
